Adrienne Barbeau (born June 11, 1945Adrienne Barbeau is an American actress working in television, film, and musical theater . She was born in Sacramento, California to a French-Canadian father and an Armenian mother.

Barbeau made her Broadway debut in , as tough-girl Rizzo, for which she won a Theater Guild award. Before making it on Broadway, she worked as a Go-Go dancer in New York City from 1964–1967.

She is best known for her television work during the 1970s including her portrayal of single mother Carol Traynor on the sitcom (1972-78) and her bra-less appearances on Battle of the Network Stars. She made guest appearance on numerous shows including Talismans", a thirteen-episode library skills series presented as a dramatic science-fiction serial story. She also played Oswald's mother on . The couple have a son, Cody. Barbeau married her current husband, Billy Van Zandt, in 1994. Barbeau gave birth to twins, Walker and William, in 1997 at the age of 51.

Like country singer Dolly Parton, Barbeau has achieved a certain degree of notoriety for her ample bosom. And, like Parton, she has refused offers to appear topless in magazine although Barbeau has appeared nude in several films. In the mid-1970s, Barbeau's cheesecake poster[1] was a close runner-up to Farrah Fawcett's and Cheryl Tiegs's.
