Ali Landry (born July 21, 1973Ali Landry is a model and actress best known as the 1996 Miss USA, as the contestant Miss Louisiana. As a spokeswoman for the Doritos chips company, she appeared in celebrated TV commercials aired during the 1998 and 1999 Super Bowl football games. A trained gymnast, she still required hours of takes to get the seconds of footage of her doing acrobatic stunts right for the commercials. In some later years she has been a hostess for the Miss USA beauty pageant.
Ali has done much modeling for photographers and magazines, and she specializes in swimsuit and lingerie modeling. Ali Landry grew up in Breaux Bridge, Louisiana, in the southwestern part of the state, and is of Cajun descent. Ali has participated in the show , and was runner up. She is an avid athlete and also participated in the Boston Marathon. Starting in 2003 she had a recurring role in the UPN sitcom . She married longtime boyfriend Mario Lopez in 2004, but two weeks after marriage, she terminated the marriage because of allegations that he cheated on her during his bachelor party.
