Xingning
(traditional Chinese: 興寧 simplified Chinese: 兴宁) is a county-level city, under the jurisdiction of Meizhou, in the Guangdong province of the People's Republic of China.
History
Xingning county was established in 331, and upgraded to a city in 1994. Xingning was once the capital of Southern Han. Geography
Xingning is located at the east part of Guangdong province. The East River (Dongjiang River) and the Han River flow through it. Xingning borders Meixian, Fengshun, Wuhua, Longchuan, Pingyuan, and Xunwu of Jiangxi province.
