Grand Lahou is a town in Côte d'Ivoire where the Bandama River meets the Gulf of Guinea. It was occupied by the British, Germans and Dutch before the French developed it as a trading port from 1890. The original settlement on a sand bar is now almost abandoned, with the present town lying almost 20 km to the north. It is a popular base for visitors to the Assagny National Park.
