Early Life

Gena Lee Nolin was born on November 29, 1971 in Duluth, Minnesota. During her childhood, Nolin lived on a family farm. As an athletic child she enjoyed skating, basketball, playing volleyball and softball. When Gena was a senior in high school, her family moved to Las Vegas. She quickly made friends and adjusted to living in Vegas. Family and friends suggested that she enter the Miss Las Vegas beauty pageant. She went on to win the title.

From becoming Miss Las Vegas, Nolin got the attention of several modeling agencies. After her high school graduation, Nolin moved to Los Angeles to persue acting and study interior design at Santa Monica College. Nolin first worked as a waitress in L.A.
