Higashimatsushima (東松島市; -shi) (lit. East Matsushima) is a city located in Miyagi, Japan.

It was created on April 1, 2005, when Naruse and Yamoto towns, both formally of Monou County, merged.

As of 2003, the area that is now Higashimatsushima had an estimated population of 43,154 and a density of 426.66 persons per km². The total area is 101.86 km².
