Kate Wilhelm (born June 8, 1928Kate Wilhelm is a writer whose work has included science fiction, mysteries, and fantasy. She was born in Toledo, Ohio. Her work has been published in , among many other places.
She and her husband, Damon Knight, taught many authors and helped to found the Clarion Writers Workshop and the Milford Writer's Conference. Wilhelm continues to host monthly workshops, as well as teach at other events.
