Matchstick Men (ISBN 0812968212Matchstick Men is a novel by author Eric Garcia, who also wrote the Anonymous Rex series. It details a period of time in the life of a couple of con artists, one of whom has Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder and Tourette Syndrome, and learns of an estranged daughter from a past relationship.
It was made into a movie, released September 12, 2003, by Warner Bros. It was directed by Ridley Scott and starred Nicholas Cage, Sam Rockwell and Alison Lohman. Eric Garcia stated that he enjoyed the end product. In the film, Angela goes to Venice High School in Los Angeles, California, which is a real high school. |
