Manzanillo, Colima
is a city in the Mexican state of Colima, located at 18.92° N 103° 88. Manzanillo is a sea port on the Pacific Ocean. In 2003 the city of Manzanillo had an estimated population of about 103,000 people. Manzanillo is also a beach resort and, as the self-proclaimed "sailfish capital" of the world, hosts a yearly sailfish fishing tournament.
The port is the second largest port per volume of cargo in Mexico and the principal commercial port on the Mexican Pacific coast. |
