Michael Douglas (born September 25, 1944 in New Brunswick, New Jersey, USAMichael Douglas is an Oscar winning American actor and producer. He is the son of actor Kirk Douglas He attended Choate Rosemary Hall for High School.

Douglas starred in the long-running TV series from 1972 to 1976. Though a capable actor, his career was somewhat stagnant after the series and he only appeared in occasional movies which were usually less than popular (for example, 1979's His role in this hit movie re-introduced him as a capable and likable leading man.

The marriage failed in 2000 after 23 years after Diandra complained of his womanising, absenteeism and not being a proper father to Cameron. That same year, Douglas married actress Catherine Zeta-Jones, who is exactly 25 years younger than he is. He's been married to Jones since November 18, 2000.
