Never Die Alone drama film, directed by Ernest R. Dickerson. It is an adaptation of the novel of the same name, written by Donald Goines.table
Hardened criminal and drug dealer King David (played by DMX) returns to his hometown to settle an old score with the drug lord Moon (played by Clifton Powell). He is stopped by Moon's henchmen, one of whom stabs him multiple times and leaves him bleeding in the gutter. Before he dies, he is rescued and taken to the hospital by Paul (played by David Arquette), a fledgling journalist who believes King David's story will launch his career. Paul inherits his possessions, including several audio tapes. The tapes were recorded by David on a tape recorder on his drive from New York back to L.A.. They tell all about King David's activities, revealing that the violence he was embroiled in his whole life had come around full circle, as he had expected it to.
