Kohat is a town in central North West Frontier Province in Pakistan. The town contains a British-era fort with a pool, a Pashtun bazaar, the tomb of the Sufi teacher Haji Bahadar Ali Abdullah Shah, a mosque and a school. The Narrow Gauge Railway runs through the town. To the north of Kohat lies the Kohat Pass.
