Ushpizin are Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, Joseph, Moses, Aaron, David, and Solomon (the last only in the Diaspora, where Sukkot is celebrated for an extra day), though there are some variations as to the order in which they visit the sukkah. Customarily, a prayer is said to welcome them each night, and images of the guests are popular decorations in the sukkah.

Aramaic title of an Israeli motion picture, The Guests, released in 2005 about an impoverished hasidic couple who are visited by a pair of escaped convicts at the beginning of Sukkot who then become their guests in the sukkah.
